polly's room

polly has posters of the spice girls & teen titans & cirque du soleil & a yoga poster in her room. she also has part of circus poster of a tiger that she made papa peel off a kiosk one time when they were walking home from school. outside her window she sees rooftops & apartment windows & a parking garage & more buildings. if she looks down to the street she can see the coffee haus & the greek pizza place & papa's favourite record store & some trees. none of the trees are big enough for a treehouse, unless you're a little bird. but that's ok because now polly has a bed that's 6 feet off the ground & has a ladder just like a treehouse. papa said he would build her a swing underneath it but he doesn't have time right now. in the space under her bed mama put the old couch & a little desk for her laptop & printer. no internet access though! if polly wants to go online she has to go to the main room or papa's office, but papa really doesn't like her using his computer.

most of the light in polly's room comes from the red, green, blue & white christmas lights mama & her strung up everywhere. polly would like her own tv but mama says tv is evil & turns your brain to mush. grandma calls tv the idiot box & doesn't even have one!
