walking on the ceiling

polly's loft bed is six feet off the ground. she's so high up she can touch the ceiling. mama hung up her union jack flag over her so she didn't have to look at the ceiling. one time when polly couldn't sleep she realized she could put her feet on the ceiling just by stretching out her legs. now it's one of her favourite things to do before she goes to bed & after she wakes up.

she calls it walking on the ceiling.
