more on sleepytown

in sleepytown you sleep on tall beds that are really soft & high like in the princess & the pea. it's very quiet there because everybody's asleep. you have your choice of pjs & blankets, or you can have a sleeping bag. you have to climb a long ladder to get into the bed. sometimes people get so tired on the ladder they fall asleep & fall off it, but it's ok because there's a trampoline which catches them & bounces them up into bed. some of the beds are so high you can almost touch the stars. you probably could if you stood up but you're so sleepy all you wanna do is close your eyes.

polly really wants to see what sleepytown is like but she never makes it there. she always falls asleep on the train & when she wakes up she's back home in her own bed.
