falafel!

polly's never had falafel before until yesterday & now it's her new favourite food. mr. myklos sells them at the greek pizza place. there wasn't any school so papa took her there for lunch & said she should try something new, she might like it. boy, was papa right! she didn't want the tzatziki sauce (yogurt, wrong!), she just had extra tomatoes instead. mr. myklos said it was only ground up chickpeas & spices, no meat or dairy at all.

polly said she wanted to have it for lunch tomorrow!

that made mr. myklos laugh. polly didn't know why. people are always laughing when she says something serious.
