brooklyn roads, redux

papa found the mp3 brooklyn roads for polly. they had to buy the cd at papa's record store. neil diamond is a funny man with shiny shirts & big hair. polly looked up the lyrics on the internet so she could see what the song is all about. brooklyn roads ia about a little boy growing up in brooklyn & has nothing to do with horses. polly likes the song because the little boy isn't doing well in school but could if he only tried. that's what everybody says about her!

clickitty says the teachers say that about everybody, even the straight "A" students. it's their way of guilting you into getting better grades & keeping you under control. once polly got an A in english & mama & papa were really happy. but she mostly gets B's & C's.

school is hard & stupid & the uniforms are dumb.
