accupunk? sure!

polly heard mama crying last nite because she was scared she wouldn't be able to teach yoga no more because of her knee. mama thought polly was asleep but she wasn't. papa said it would be ok she just needs to rest. polly didn't like hearing mama cry, that made her want to cry.

today mama had a lady she teaches yoga to vist. polly recognized her from the ashram. her name was miss saffron & mama said she did something called accupunk sure. miss saffron is a nice lady who smiled alot but polly got scared because she stuck a bunch of needles in mama's knee even though mama said they didn't hurt. miss saffron said there's healing energy in the body called chi & it travels along roads in the body called meridians. and you can use the needles to make the chi go where you want it to go & this will help mama's knee get better. polly didn't pay much attention to what miss saffron was saying because she was fascinated by all the needles sticking out of mama's knee.

miss saffron asked if polly wanted to try it but polly said no thank you & handed her clickitty. click has a floppy neck & that probably hurts. miss saffron stuck some needles in him & said now he wouldn't hurt so much.

later click said his neck never hurt before & don't let that lady near me again.

but mama said she felt better & didn't cry anymore so that made polly feel better.
