vegan french toast

polly wishes somebody would invent vegan french toast because it smells really good & looks really good but polly won't eat it because of the eggs & the milk. she tried pouring maple syrup on regular toast but that tasted awful. clickitty says in france they call french toast pain perdue which means lost bread. polly said that's interesting but how is it gonna help us get vegan french toast?
